Hi, I’m Zach, and I’m the owner of Kingly Counseling. I am passionate about people and their stories. We were made to be relational, emotional, and meaning makers. When harm happens, either explicit or implicit, our stories can become distorted.
Shame finds a way of telling us who we are, and our bodies, emotions, and identity may bear the weight of the past.
My goal is to be an empathetic and compassionate companion through people’s trauma, shame, and heartache, helping heal and redeem the inherent goodness of their personhood and stories.
I strive to adapt each session to the unique stories, needs, and personalities of each client. I am Level 1 Lifespan Integration trained. I also incorporate trauma-informed Narrative therapy, Restoration Therapy, Gospel-Centered Integrated Framework for Therapy (GIFT), Attachment-based interventions, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and DBT to address the unique needs of clients.
When I am not seeing clients, I am recording music, reading books, visiting friends at Archetype Coffee (fun fact- their coffee roster won a Grammy), or hanging with the fam.
